FRIYAY: Tis The Season

Big celebrations today as it’s Friday, the beginning of December AND my second post in my FRIYAY series! With the Christmas spirit in full swing at my home (I had my Christmas tree up mid-November — #soznotsoz), I’m excited to make December’s FRIYAY theme fully festive. Without further ado, here’s how I’m planning* on celebrating my FRIYAYs during December.

* While I’ve every intention to enjoy my FRIYAYs snuggled on my couch, inevitably that won’t happen in December. Why? Firstly, I’m spending one Friday flying home to see family – YAY! Secondly, my work Christmas party falls on a Friday, and I’m not passing up free food and booze.

Tea Garden Co. “If Rudolph Was A Tea”

I first encountered Tea Garden Co. back in July at Melbourne’s Finders Keepers Market. Ever since, I’ve eagerly awaited to try more of their scrumptious teas. With Christmas on the brink, it seemed absurd not to try their festive teas, and seeing as “If Rudolph Was a Tea” is berry based, it sounded refreshing for hot Australian Christmases. I’ve tried it a few times now, and I actually prefer it cold rather than hot so I’m hoping to make many iced teas with it over summer.

LUSH Berry Berry Christmas Shower Gel

It was incredibly hard to choose which Christmas themed LUSH product to treat myself to this month. Honestly the main reasons Berry Berry Christmas won was because: a) I love it’s vibrant turquoise colour; and b) I adore it’s fusion of cranberry, blueberry and orange scents. I’ve treated myself to a few LUSH shower gels before, but Berry Berry Christmas stands out from the crowd because it’s made shower time magical, refreshing and full of fruity fun. I also recommend their Snow Fairy Shower Gel, but seeing as I’ve treated myself to it’s sweet, sugary scent several years running, it was time to mix it up.

Kikki.K Christmas Organiser: Joy

While I’ve been dying to get my hands on a Kikki.K Christmas Organiser for a few years now, I was always worried I’d never utilise it. Back home in Perth, there was no need to send out cards because  friends and family were around the corner. There was no need to budget for decorations, as I had no space to decorate. But this year that’s all changed. I’m so excited to make this festive season more magical and organised using Kikki.K’s Christmas Planner. While I was in early with the Christmas decorations and presents, I’m a tad behind with my Christmas cards so I’m keen to get on top of that!

Sohum Christmas Gingerbread Candlette

You’ll soon notice that I love the smell of gingerbread, cinnamon and nutmeg. To me these scents are synonymous with Christmas. When I saw Sohum had a limited edition Gingerbread Candlette I knew I had to have it wafting through the house throughout the festive season. It smells divine, looks so gorgeous in its minimalistic gold pot and is spreading the Christmas cheer!

I’m really excited to get into the festive spirit with these little goodies. How are you spending your FRIYAYs this month? Let me know in the comments!

Thanks Megan! I did this time around. Normally I rope in the boyfriend to help but he’s been away so it was a one woman show this time around!

I try to leave work as early as possible so that I can get home and spend time with my daughter. Then when she goes to bed, I usually pass out on the couch because I’m so tired from the work week. Haha!

I love all of this, but I doubt the tea is available in the U.S. (I’ll be researching after this). How hot is it normally at Christmas in Australia? Last year in Florida it was a very hot and humid 85 degrees F.

Merry Christmas! I love the pictures and your Organiser. I looked on Amazon and the tea is not available where I live. Take care and all the best!
